This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts or optional cookies. The enquiry form does not save your draft in a website database or browser storage. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you contact us
The form prepares an enquiry in WhatsApp or your email application. You review and send it there. We receive the name, message and contact details you choose to share and use them to respond and arrange retreat participation. We rely on legitimate interests for responding to general enquiries and, where applicable, steps taken at your request before an agreement. Optional marketing requires a separate choice; sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, arrange participation and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. You may ask us about the retention period relevant to your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the form.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing or request a restriction, as applicable. Contact us using the email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Other services and joining a retreat
WhatsApp, Instagram, email providers and Zoom operate under their own privacy terms. Contacting us does not guarantee a place. We confirm availability, joining instructions and any session-specific arrangements directly. Listed guests and highlights describe past events unless a future appearance is expressly confirmed. Sharing your work is optional; publication requires your permission.
Images and information
The writing-desk, online-retreat and outdoor gathering images are AI-generated illustrations. They do not document actual attendees, past events or a confirmed festival venue. Our current retreat programme takes place online; the writing and arts festival near Castelo Branco, Central Portugal, is a developing plan for summer 2027. Its dates, venue and programme are not yet confirmed. Programme information may change; ask us to confirm arrangements before your chosen date.
